Michael Gunning

He has been a fine art and antique collector, buyer and seller for more than 40 years.

Michael grew up along the Main Line of Philadelphia PA, attended Villanova University, and spent many years working in the high-line automotive industry.

In 2000, his passion for collecting got the best of him and he started an eBay business as a hobby that grew into Gunning and Company. It was a natural extension to begin offering moving and estate/moving sales services.

Mike’s strategic thinking, attention to detail, and strong business sense ensures you get maximum exposure and benefit from the sale.

Having a florist and party decorator as parents helped shape Kim’s passion for decorating, gardening and entertaining. She has a love of great furniture and art, and has from a young age.

Kim grew up in Bucks County, PA and attended Archbishop Wood High School for Girls. After graduating, Kim got a job as a teller at Germantown Savings Bank and was promoted to Manager by the age of 21. She held marketing, training and investor relations positions during her 20-year career at the bank.

Kim ran her own sales training business. Her first client was a privately held bank in Philadelphia who quickly hired her as their Retail Banking Sales Manager. Kim stayed with Firstrust Bank for another 17 years working as a manager, trainer and regional Vice President.

Kim’s has been a non-stop volunteer with many local non-profits. The Women’s Resource Center (as President) in Wayne, PA, the Variety Club, Wolf Performing Arts, and the Ardmore Initiative’s Foundation Boards are just a few. She was most recently the Co-President of the Ardmore Business Association.

Kim recently left banking to partner with her husband Michael to grow the family business. She brings a unique ability to stage clients’ homes like a beautiful antique store. At sales, she welcomes patrons like family. She will tell you that she loves what she is doing now.

Robert P. Subranni, JD

Partner & Director of Fine Arts, Bob Subranni has been with Gunning & Company since the beginning.

Robert P. Subranni

Bob speaks several languages. In 1984 he designed and marketed worldwide “The Haley Comet Commemorative Medal.” He travels world-wide looking for rare and unusual items. Many objects in the Gunning Company collection are his foreign imports. This passion for art and music fuels his desire for great paintings, musical instruments and mechanical musical machines.Bob’s love and passion for fine art and music add a great dimension to our team of experts. He is a member of the New Jersey Bar and an ardent catboat sailor and cyclist.

Bob’s association with our organization allows for invaluable guidance in the areas of fine art, antiquities as well as the law. He is the Coordinator of Florida Operations for Gunning Company in Tampa Bay on the West Coast at St. Petersburg. During the summer months, Bob can be heard playing the organ and directing the choir at the Church of the Redeemer by the Sea in Historic Longport, NJ. Stop by and say hello!
